Most deck builders start from every card ever printed and leave you to work out what you can actually field tonight. This one starts from your shelves. Answer three questions and you get a list you can sleeve up, with a line on every card saying why it is there.
What are you building?
Commander, Standard, Pioneer, Modern, Legacy or Pauper. What is legal comes from the catalog, so a card banned last week is not offered this week.
Who leads it?
For Commander, pick from the legendary creatures you own. The deck stays inside their colours, the way the format requires.
How do you want to win?
In your own words. "Counter everything and win slowly" is a perfectly good answer.

It is checked against your shelves, not just suggested
A card that is not on your shelves never reaches the deck, and it never asks for a fifth copy of something you own four of, or a second copy in a singleton format. Anything it reached for and could not have is dropped and named, so you can see what it wanted and decide whether to go and find it.
What comes out is an ordinary deck. Change it, sleeve it, or use the want list to chase the pieces it told you were missing.
