What MagicGuru is

MagicGuru is a platform for collecting, tracking and trading Magic: The Gathering cards. It combines a free collector product (set checklists, a worth tool and leaderboards) with a marketplace where independent merchants list cards and sealed product for sale.

Merchants are the sellers of record

Every listing on the marketplace is sold by the merchant who created it, not by MagicGuru. MagicGuru operates the platform and the checkout page; a shop's orders are paid into that shop's own payment account, and MagicGuru does not hold a shop's sales money. Each merchant is responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the condition of the cards they sell, refunds, and fulfilment of the order.

Fan Content

MagicGuru is unofficial Fan Content permitted under the Fan Content Policy. It is not approved or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast. Portions of the materials used are property of Wizards of the Coast. Card data is provided by Scryfall and MTGJSON.

Contacting other collectors

If you are a member of a shop on MagicGuru (an owner, manager or staff member), a contact request you send to another collector shows which shop you work at, as it was when you sent the request. This holds when you write for yourself too, so the collector always knows a shop may be the one asking.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. We may suspend or close an account that abuses the platform, attempts fraud, or breaks these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms as the platform grows. Material changes will be announced on the site.
